Wine description
Amphoreus by Paraschos winery is a brilliant and visionary expression of Malvasia Istriana grapes coming from 90 years old vines, grown in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy).
Tasting Notes
Color: amber yellow with orange shadows Scent of yellow ripe fruits, white flowers and aromatic herbs. In the mouth is round, mineral with a very long persistence.
Vinification
Fermentation with the skins in 240 litres clay amphorae from Crete.
Ageing
12 months in clay with maceration on the skins. Bottling by free fall direct to bottles with no pressure and no additives.
