Wine description
The Musso's Barbaresco Rio Sordo comes from 1 hectare vineyard located in the historical cru "Rio Sordo". This Barbaresco is a great expression of the grape Nebbiolo, it's an elegant wine, dry, full, warm and persistent that leaves a velvety palate.
Tasting Notes
Color: garnet red with ruby reflections Scent: very rich in exotic fruit, apricot, dried flowers and red fruits jam, perfectly balanced with elegant spicy notes like pink peppercorns, cinnamon and tobacco. Taste: dry, full, warm and persistent
Vinification
Maceration lasts about 18-20 days at controlled temperature (between 28 and 30°C) in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
12 months in 50HL oak barrels and then for another 6 months in 20HL barrels. 7-8 months in bottle.
