Wine description

The Cascina Baricchi's Barbaresco Riserva comes from the vineyards in Barbaresco and Neive. This wine expresses the most traditional aromas of the Barbaresco denomination, combined with a dry, balanced and harmonious taste. Incredible tannin structure will ensure this wine lasts for decades.

Tasting Notes

Color: ruby red tending to garnet Scent: good balance between floral, fruity and woody scents, with notes of jam, spices and leather Taste: full-bodied and warm, with well-structured tannins.

Vinification

Fermentation with maceration for 10 days in stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

80% of the wine in 500L Hungarian non-toasted oak tonneaux, the other 20% in old French Allier barriques, for 36 months. 12 months in bottles.
