Wine description
Riserva Riserva Rosé delle Casasse is a refined Nebbiolo Riserva produced from organically farmed vineyards located at around 320 metres above sea level on sandy-clay soils of ancient fluvial origin. Crafted with a minimal-intervention philosophy, it expresses the authenticity of its terroir and the elegance of traditional Nebbiolo.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red in colour with garnet hues, the bouquet combines floral, fruity and delicate oak notes, evolving into aromas of jam, spices and leather. Full-bodied and warm on the palate, it is supported by a firm, well-structured tannin and a long, harmonious finish. Ideal with truffle dishes, roasted red meats, game and traditional braised specialties.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested from certified organic vineyards and vinified with spontaneous fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. No fining or filtration is carried out, allowing the wine to fully express the character of the fruit and the vintage.
Ageing
The wine matures for 36 months, with 80% aged in oak tonneaux and 20% in Allier barriques. It then undergoes an additional year of bottle ageing before release.
