Wine description

The Le Macioche's Brunello di Montalcino is made with Sangiovese grapes grown in 25-years-old vines at 450 metres above sea level. It's produced under the wise hands of Maurizio Castelli, a name that in Montalcino is a guarantee of authentic wines that have worldwide praise. Annual bottles produced: 8.000.

Tasting Notes

Color: ruby red tending to garnet Scent: rich and complex, of slightly dried black fruits, black cherries, slight notes of tobacco and undergrowth Taste: intense, powerful and well structured, with great elegance, balanced and persistent.

Ageing

36 months in 30HL French oak barrels.
