Wine description

The Istine's Chianti Classico Riserva Le Vigne is made at 100% with a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes coming from the crus owned by the winery. This Chianti Classico Riserva is an intense and very rich red wine that perfectly represents its territorial identities and it's an excellent expression of the Chianti denomination. It perfectly pairs with meat courses, excellent with grilled beef fillet.

Tasting Notes

Color: bright ruby red Scent: very rich with notes of fruit, sweet spices with a hint of leather and licorice. Taste: full-body, intense and rich, with a great balance, freshness and long finish

Vinification

Maceration on the skins for 21 days, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks for 15 day and malolactic fermentation in wooden tanks.

Ageing

18 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
