Wine description

The Istine's Chianti Classico Vigna Casanova dell'Aia is made at 100% with a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes coming from the Casanova dell'Aia vineyards in Radda in Chianti (Tuscany). This Chianti Classico is an intense and very rich red wine that perfectly represents its territorial identities and it's an excellent expression of the Chianti denomination. It perfectly pairs with meat courses, excellent with grilled beef fillet.

Vinification

Maceration on the skins for 21 days, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks for 15 day and malolactic fermentation in wooden tanks.

Ageing

18 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
