Wine description

The Francesco Versio's Dogliani comes from a small plot of old vines located in the Borgata Pamparato between the town of Dogliani & Belvedere Langhe. Dogliani is made with Dolcetto grapes and has a superb flavor intensity and personality. Francesco Versio decided to start producing his own wine after having worked as cellarman, and then oenologist, at Bruno Giacosa with Dante Scaglione.

Tasting Notes

Mid-weight boby wine with an intense ruby red color. Aromas of black cherry, smoke, salty minerality, licorice and plum hit the nose and are also recognizable in the mouth.
