Greco di Tufo 2015 Ciro Picariello

Wine description

A traditional white wine from Irpinia, the Greco di Tufo of Ciro Picariello comes from a vineyard in the village of Altavilla and can age for several years developing an interesting balance between its minerality and freshness and the fruity and rich notes typical of the grape.

Tasting Notes

Intense yellow straw, citrus flowers, melon and mineral sulphureous notes on the nose, freshness and minerality in the mouth with good structure.

Vinification

Must kept at 8°C for 24 hours, fermentation at 12-13°C controlled temperature.

Ageing

Aged 8 months in stainless steel tanks with bâtonnage.
