Wine description

"I Capitelli", Bianco Passito del Veneto, produced by the Anselmi winery, is a Passito with a unique pleasantness, never trivial nor predictable, never cloying and always at the top: it is a Passito that will never let you down!

Tasting Notes

Color: gold with amber reflections. Scent: aromas of dried figs and apricot, saffron, honey, citrus peel and custard. Taste: excellent softness and never cloying sweetness perfectly balanced with lively freshness, with a long mineral finish.

Vinification

Selection of the most mature straggly bunches during harvest collected in one layer in small boxes. After pneumatic pressing on the end of December, the sweet must is left to ferment in smal oak barrels, then it's decanted twice.

Ageing

8 months in barriques (100 Allier oak from the Troncais forest); then 1 year in bottle.
