Taurasi Vigna Macchia dei Goti 2013 Antonio Caggiano

Tasting Notes

A strong ruby red colour. On the nose it's complex, bold, with a definite scent of black fruits (blackberries, blueberries). On the palate it's complex, with robust but well managed tannins, which will make it age wonderfully for at least ten years.

Vinification

Harvesting period: end of October/beginning of November. Vinification process: fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature.

Ageing

Ageing in barriques for a period of 12 – 18 months.
