Wine description

The Principiano's Barbera d'Alba DOC "Laura" is made with artisan methods and Organic viticulture, in Monforte d'Alba. Straightforward and genuine it perfectly expresses the character of the land where the grapes are grown. The grapes are harvested only when they reach full maturity and maximum concentration of sugars, giving this Barbera d'Alba a proper alcohol content and good persistence.

Tasting Notes

Color: ruby red Scent: very intense on the nose, with floral notes of rose and violet, and fruity aromas of cherry Taste: soft and fruity, with a nice acidity and good freshness.

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration for 20 days without inoculated yeasts and without added sulfur.

Ageing

10 months in stainless steel.
