Wine description

The Mario Marengo's Barolo is a great and expressive representative of the barolo wine. It comes from the vineyards in La Morra where the Marengo family has been making wine since 1899. This Barolo is an excellence guaranteed at the highest levels.

Tasting Notes

Color: intense garnet red with ruby nuance Scent: fresh flowers, little red currants, ripe cherries, with raspberries and plums, with tertiary hints of licorice and spices Taste: layered and deep, generous and solid, energetic with a well balanced tannic texture and long persistence

Vinification

10 days at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.

Ageing

24 months in oak barriques.
