Wine description

The Istine's Chianti Classico is made with 90% of Sangiovese and 10% of Canaiolo and Colorino grapes. It comes from the vineyard "Istine" in Radda in Chianti in the heart of the historic Chianti zone in Tuscany. This Chianti Classico is a red wine of medium intensity and structure, with great tannins that will be able to sustain it for a long time. Annual production of 3000 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Color: ruby red Scent: floral notes of violet, with red fruits, cherries and strawberries, sweet spices and balsamic hints Taste: elegant and harmonious with good freshness, easy to drink, full body with soft and persistent tannins.

Vinification

Maceration on the skins for 21 days, alcoholic fermentation in cement tanks for 15 days and malolactic fermentation in wooden tanks.

Ageing

12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
