Wine description

Azienda Agricola Enzo Boglietti is a family run winery that produces about 100.000 bottles a year with grapes coming exclusively from ha 22 of vineyards of property. The winery is located in La Morra, while the vineyards are scattered amongst the Comuni of La Morra, Barolo, Monforte, Serralunga d’Alba, Roddino e Sinio. Enzo Boglietti together with his daughter Linda and his son Matteo are dedicated to produce high quality wines.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby red colour. The appealing bouquet of dried flowers, red/dark fruit is focused and intense. The aromatics build in elegance and depth. Medium full bodied, the palate shows ripe fruit flavours together with savoury and floral tones. The mouthfeel is refined and silky, the alcohol well integrated and the finish lingering.

Vinification

10 days fermentation at controlled temperature, plunged and pumped over daily

Ageing

9 month in used oak barrels.
